Provenance. Forme féminine d'Aubin. Vient du latin "Albus" Signifie "Blanc" Se fête le 1er mars.
Histoire. Né en 469 à Vannes, dans le Morbihan, Aubin est moine, puis abbé d'un monastère près de Guérande, en Loire Atlantique. Elu, à la demande du peuple, évêque d'Angers en 529, il lutte avec énergie, malgré les menaces de mort, contre les moeurs dissolues des nobles. Il meurt le 1er mars 550. C'est le saint Patron de la ville d'Angers.
Caractère. Généralement brillantes, douées pour les études, elles manient avec aisance la parole et l'écriture. Femmes d'action et de conviction, elles aiment s'engager et prendre des responsabilités. Leur activisme les amène parfois à se disperser. Ambitieuses, elles ont tendance à sacrifier la vie familiale au profit de la vie professionnelle.
