Provenance. Vient de l'hébreu "bar-nabas" Signifie : "fils de la consolation" Se fête le 11 juin.
Histoire. Disciple de Jésus en Palestine, au 1er siècle, Joseph est surnommé Barnabé par les apôtres. Après la Pentecôte, il vend ses terres et donne tout à la première communauté chrétienne. Puis il devient le compagnon de voyage de Saint Paul, prêchant ensemble de ville en ville, dans toute l' Asie Mineure. Il sera lapidé à Chypre vers l'an 60.
Caractère. Ce sont de grands voyageurs qui ne tiennent pas en place. Jamais satisfaits, ils ont soif de nouveautés. Ils ont le goût de la perfection et de l'exactitude, aiment se dépasser, aller toujours plus loin. Ce sont des insoumis qui ont des difficultés à se conformer aux règles établies.
