Provenance. Forme anglo-xaxonne de Cendrillon. Vient du français "cendre" Se fête le 25 décembre.
Histoire. Tout le monde connait ce conte de fée où Cendrillon, malgré les brimades causées par sa belle-mère, réussit, grâce à sa marraine la fée, à participer au bal donné par le fils du roi. Mais, quittant précipitamment la fête, elle perd sa chaussure dans sa fuite. Le jeune roi n'aura de cesse de retrouver la propriétaire de cette chaussure, car il est amoureux de la jeune fille. C'est ainsi que Cendrillon épousa le prince charmant. Pour des raisons de phonétique, Cendrillon se fête avec les "Cindy".
Caractère. D'un abord un peu fier, ce sont des femmes plutôt réservées qui doivent combattre une certaine timidité. Très féminines, leur forte sensibilité les rend parfois instables.Travailleuses, courageuses, elles ont une volonté sans faille. Exigeantes, intransigeantes, elles n'acceptent pas la médiocrité. Elles ont de l'humour et leur gentillesse est reconnue.
