Provenance. Forme anglo-saxonne d'Edouard. Vient du germain "ed et warden" Signifie : "richesse et garder" Se fête le 5 janvier.
Histoire. Né en 1004, il fut le dernier roi anglo-saxon avant la conquête de l'Angleterre par Guillaume le Conquérant. Aimé de son peuple, économe de la vie de ses sujets, oeuvrant pour la paix, il bâtit l'abbaye de Westminster où il se retira après avoir cédé son trône. Il y mourut en 1066. Edouard est l'un des rois les plus populaires de son pays.
Caractère. Ils se veulent nécessaires et se créent, s'il le faut, des responsabilités qui les rendent indispensables. Ils aiment agir pour le bien d'autrui. Calmes, patients, dévoués, ils possèdent une autorité naturelle et le sens du commandement. Peu émotifs, on dirait que rien ne les touche. Ils ont des principes qu'ils ne transgressent jamais.
