Provenance. Vient du germain "ed et win" Signifie "richesse et ami" Se fête le 12 octobre.
Histoire. Couronné roi de Northumbrie, Angleterre, en 617, Edwin épouse une princesse chrétienne et se convertit à sa demande après beaucoup d'hésitations. Il favorise cependant l'évangélisation de son pays et meurt lors d'une bataille contre les Gallois, en 633.
Caractère. Elles sont souvent belles, bien dans leur peau. Conformistes, elles sont attachées aux traditions et aux valeurs familiales. Directes, sans détours, elles disent toujours ce qu'elles pensent, même si cela doit choquer. Travailleuses, organisées, obstinées, elles luttent jusqu'à ce que le but soit atteint. Attentives, discrètes, chaleureuses, ce sont des compagnes que l'on garde.
