Geofrey
Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Geoffroy. Vient du germain "godo et frido" Signifie : "dieu et paix" Se fête le 8 novembre.
Histoire. Né près de Soissons en 1065, il devint moine "économe" de son convent. Il fit preuve d'habileté dans les affaires et d'adresse pour échapper aux seigneurs pillards. Devenu évêque d'Amiens, il participa à la création, avec les bourgeois de la ville, d'une commune pour mieux lutter contre les seigneurs tout puissants. Ce qui lui valut d'être expulsé. Il meurt le 8 novembre 1115.
Caractère. Ils possèdent une grande puissance de travail ; aiment la vie et se donnent totalement à ce qu'ils entreprennent. Enthousiastes, d'abord chaleureux, ils sont bavards et veulent toujours tout expliquer. Ils ne supportent pas l'injustice et se battent pour faire changer les choses. Assez indisciplinés, ils acceptent mal l'autorité et le conformisme.
