Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Laouenan. Vient du gallois "lawen" Signifie: "gai" Se fête le 23 janvier.
Histoire. Laouenan est l'un des disciple de saint Tudwal, évêque de Tréguier, puis un auxiliaire de saint Pol, évêque du Léon, en Armorique, au VIème siècle. Ce prénom était porté au moyen-âge.
Caractère. Ils respirent la bonne humeur et la joie de vivre. Il est rare de les voir de mauvaise humeur. Leur gentillesse et leur amabilité naturelles les rendent assez influençables. Serviables, généreux, travailleurs, actifs, ils ne ménagent pas leur peine pour réussir ce qu'ils ont entrepris. Possessifs, ils ont l'esprit de clan. Leur morale est faite de bon sens et ils sont souvent l'homme d'un seul amour.
