Provenance. Prénom dérivé d'Elouan. Vient du celte "el et lou" Signifie: "richesse et lumière" Se fête le 28 août.
Histoire. Moine Irlandais, Elouan s'en va évangéliser les païens d'Armorique avec beaucoup d'autres missionnaires au VIème siècle. Son tombeau se trouverait à saint-Guen, dans les côtes d'Armor, où une chapelle lui est dédiée.
Caractère. Elles ont généralement la langue bien pendue. D'une forte émotivité, ce sont souvent des inquiètes et des insatisfaites qui ont du mal à trouver leur équilibre. Leur grande intuition les guide toute leur vie. D'une intelligence brillante, fières de leur personne, elles ont tendance à se croire un peu supérieures aux autres. La solitude leur est insupportable, aussi elles prennent soin d'êtres toujours entourées.
