Provenance. Vient de l'hébreu "Magdala" Nom d'un villade de Galilée où demeurait Marie-Madeleine. Se fête le 22 juillet.
Histoire. Parmi les femmes qui pleuraient la mort de Jésus, Marie-Madeleine fut la première, selon l'Evangile, avant même les apôtres, à rencontrer le Christ ressuscité. Elle était originaire de Magdala, en Palestine, près du lac de Tibéria et fut une pécheresse repentie à qui Jésus a pardonné ses errances passées.
Caractère. Leur susceptibilité les rend soupe au lait. D'humeur changeante, elles ne sont pas toujours téméraires devant les difficultés. Sans passion, elles ne vont pas loin, avec de la passion, elles transportent les montagnes. Affectueuses, ce sont des amoureuses insatiables. Vives, actives, elles sont quelquefois difficiles à suivre. Chaleureuses, accueillantes, elles communiquent leur enthousiasme à leur entourage.
