Provenance. Mot d'origine grecque. Vient de l'araméen "myrrhe" Désigne: "huile d'odeur agréable". Se fête le 5 octobre.
Histoire. Utilisé aux Etats-Unis, surtout depuis les années 40, Myron est encore donné aujourd'hui, en particuleir, par les familles noires américaines. - Ce prénom a pour origine le camphrier, arbre du Moyen-Orient à l'odeur forte. La résine est utilisée pour la préparation de parfums et d'encens. Dans la Bible, l'or, l'encens et la myrrhe étaient des cadeaux présentés à Jésus par les trois rois Mages. On peut fêter "Myron" avec Sainte Fleur qui a aussi pour origine le grand jardin de la nature.
Caractère. Bons vivants, d'esprit logique et plein de bons sens, ils recherchent la simplicité. Ils sont droits et rigoureux, fidèles à leurs principes. Actifs, dynamiques, toujours disponibles pour les autres, ils aiment prendre initiatives et responsabilités. Ils accordent leur confiance facilement, mais sont rancuniers avec ceux qui ont démérité
