Provenance. Forme germanique d'Edmond. Vient du germain "ed et mund" Signifie : "richesse et protection" Se fête le 20 novembre.
Histoire. Né en 841 et couronné à quatorze ans roi des Angles, Edmond gouverne son petit royaume en chrétien, cherchant à faire le bien de ses sujets, ne refusant jamais une requête. Sa grande générosité est devenue légendaire. Mais les Danois envahissent le royaume et capture Edmond qui, refusant les conditions de sa reddition, est attaché à un arbre et criblé de flèches, le 20 novembre 870.
Caractère. Fonceurs, brillants, entreprenants, ils surmontent tous les obstacles. Ils sont faits pour les grands projets qu'ils mènent à bien, grâce à leur volonté et leur perspicacité. De nature gaie, ils sont directs et manquent parfois de diplomatie. La réussite professionnelle les obsède tant qu'ils n'y sont pas parvenus. Leur impatience leur fait commettre des erreurs.
