Provenance. Forme anglo-saxonne de Rodolphe. Vient du germain "hrod et wulf" Signifie : "gloire et loup" Se fête le 21 juin.
Histoire. Né vers 800, près de Limoges, Saint Rodolhe, plus connu sous le nom de Raoul, devient évêque de Bourges. Ce fut un bon évêque que l'on surnomma le père de la patrie, car il participa à la vie politique de son pays, négocia la paix etc. Il meurt le 21 juin 866.
Caractère. Plutôt introvertis, ils attachent beaucoup d'importance à leur vie intérieure et spirituelle. Discrets, peu expansifs, ce sont des solitaires. Travailleurs, volontaires, opiniâtres, ils vont jusqu'au bout de leur entreprise. En amour, ils sont possessifs, voire jaloux. Bons et généreux, leur morale est stricte. Ils ont peu d'amis, mais les choisissent avec soin et leur fidélité est inébranlable.
