Provenance. Prénom d'origine arabe. Signifie: "chef, prince. Symbole de la sagesse et de l'équité"
Histoire. Depuis maintenant quatorze siècles, la plupart des musulmans, de par le monde, qu'ils soient asiatiques, africains, européens ou américains, ont à coeur de choisir pour leurs enfants des prénoms arabes. Cet attachement plonge ses racines à la source même de l'Islam et reste, pour la diaspora, l'unique témoignage de son identité originelle.
Caractère. Ce sont des optimistes qui se laissent emporter par leurs passions. Leur jugement sur le monde est souvent méprisant et très critique. Ils sont têtus, autoritaires et possessifs. Volontaires, actifs, ils vont jusqu'au bout de ce qu'ils entreprennent. Généreux, ils ont le coeur sur la main. Vos états d'âme et vos soucis ne les intéressent pas.
