Provenance. Vient du germain "til" Signifie: "habile" Se fête le 7 janvier.
Histoire. Till l'espiègle est un héros de la première moitié du XIVème siècle, en Basse -Saxe, célèbre pour les tours qu'il joue aux nobles, aux clercs et aux artisans. Les "Till" sont fêté avec saint Théau qui vécut au VIIème siècle et que l'on appelait aussi "Til". Il évangélisa les saxons sur l'ordre de saint Eloi avant de se retirer en Auvergne où il construisit un ermitage. Théau mourrut saintement en 702 à plus de 90 ans.
Caractère. Curieux et intelligents, de nature réservée, ils s'expriment peu. Critiques à l'égard des idées reçues, ils aiment comprendre et analyser. Esprit logique et concret, ils sont rigoureux, d'une moralité sans faille. Ils savent cependant s'amuser et ont beaucoup d'humour. Au travail, ils sont assidus, exigeants et d'humeur toujours égale. Ils ne courent pas après la réussite professionnelle, mais cherchent surtout à réussir leur vie.
