Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Hugues. Vient du germain "hug" Signifie : "intelligent" Se fête le 1er avril.
Histoire. Né en 1053 à Chateauneuf sur Isère dans la Drôme, Hugues fut élu évêque de Grenoble. Choqué par l'immoralité du clergé, il le réforma en donnant l'exemple, vendit tous ses biens ainsi que son calice d'or pour aider les pauvres et fut à l'origine de la grande chartreuse avec saint Bruno. Il mourut en 1132, après plus de cinquante années d'épiscopat.
Caractère. Réalistes, ils ont les pieds sur terre. Conservateurs, attachés aux traditions, ils se méfient des modes et du modernisme. Agréables à vivre, généreux, ils adorent recevoir et être entourés d'amis. Bien qu'ils ne soient pas des bourreaux de travail, leur diplomatie et la chance les aident à réussir. Ils sont possessifs et entêtés.
