William
Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Guillaume. Vient du germain "wil et helm" Signifie : "volonté et casque" Se fête le 10 janvier.
Histoire. Fils du comte de Nevers, neveu de Pierre l'Ermite qui prêcha la première croisade, Guillaume renonça à la carrière et à la fortune pour se faire moine. Sa renommée et sa sainteté le font nommer abbé de plusieurs monastères successifs. Il est appelé à prendre la charge d'évêque à Bourges, en 1200. Excellent évêque, choisi par l'université de Paris comme protecteur, il meurt le 10 janvier 1209.
Caractère. Très émotifs, ils s'efforcent toujours de garder leur sang-froid. Entreprenants, actifs, volontaires, ils ont une puissance de travail réelle et rien ne leur résiste. Charmeurs, élégants, leur pouvoir de séduction est indéniable. Leur morale est souple et s'adapte assez aux circonstances. La fidélité n'est pas leur point fort, ils tombent souvent amoureux et c'est toujours sincère.
